Three small ways to see the game faster
Daily Mahj Puzzles are free for everyone in Mahj Call. A set is designed to take about five minutes, and everyone receives the same puzzles on the same day so friends can compare scores.
- Hand Hunt: find the requested hand hiding in a grid.
- Good Call? decide whether each completed hand is real Mahjong.
- Face Down: name the card section in as few flips as you can.

Original sample · Call or pass?
Would this discard make a legal call?
You hold two 5 Bams. Another player discards a 5 Bam. Your chosen line allows an exposed pung of 5 Bams. May you call?

Reveal the answer
Call. The discard completes a pung: three identical tiles, a legal exposed group when your chosen line asks for it. Put all three 5 Bams face up, skip the wall draw and discard one tile to end your turn.
If you held only one 5 Bam, the discard would make a pair and could not be called unless it completed Mahjong. If the line were marked concealed, you would also pass unless this were the winning tile.
What the free page does—and what it does not claim
This page gives you one original example, not today’s in-app answer and not a reproduction of an annual card hand. The current card is still the authority for which groups belong in a complete winning hand.
The app’s guided first game, lessons and three Daily Mahj Puzzles are free. One practice hand is free each day. Mahj Call Membership adds unlimited practice, private tables and Quick Match, with the current price shown inside the app before purchase.
